Le Galaxie ink major publishing deal
Electro quartet might be on a soundtrack near you very soon
Le Galaxie have announced a deal with publishing giants Reservoir, that sees them join the likes of Major Lazer, MØ, and M.I.A on the company's books.
With an Electric Picnic appearance to look forward to - and still on a buzz from the release of their debut LP, Le Club - the quartet now have the prospect of landing on the big and small screen to get worked up about.
And worked up they most certainly are; frontman Michael Pope enthusing, “We are so excited to be part of the Reservoir family. When we create Le Galaxie music we dream of it reaching the biggest audience possible, we dream of it soundtracking experiences all over the world. Now we all get to dream together," adding “Not literally. That would be impossible.”
For their part, Reservoir's head honcho Andy Moerschell revealed that they had become enamoured with the band through their CMJ performance in New York. "The energy of their songs and stage presence is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, and the fact that they’re able to recreate that feeling on a recording like Le Club cements what a special act this is. I’m excited to be part of their team and ever-growing fan base.”
We wait with open ears for the first strains of the boys on the box!
