La Rocca + Life After Modeling: going skywards
Dublin bands La Rocca and Life After Modeling will play to the industry fat cats in Manchester later this month.
La Rocca and Life After Modeling are both feeling suitably chuffed with themselves after being invited to play at this month's In The City industryfest in Manchester.
The ITC Unsigned Showcase is arguably the most important A&R event of the year with Placebo, Kula Shaker, Coldplay, Muse, Badly Drawn Boy, The Raveonettes, The Darkness and Royksopp all landing deals after appearing there.
If that wasn't enough to be getting on with, their Sing, Song, Sung EP polled sufficiently well for La Rocca to be made Pet Sounds Artist of the Week on Tom Dunne's Today FM show.
In case you're scratching your head – or other parts of your anatomy – Life After Modeling were known until very recently as Deputy Fuzz.
