Killers

Delaying the release of their debut album, Closer, Dublin- based Ginseng release their first single, Killer, on their own Ginseng Music. Ginseng are a four piece band who have a genuinely ‘four piece band’ sound. The heavy bass on the title track is reminiscent of U2’s ‘New Years Day’; as a whole, it retains a nice balance between classic rock and guitar oriented pop. ‘Rise’ is more of a ballad, with strong percussion and anthemic lyrics, and the acoustic version of ‘Where No One Knows’ gives an equity to the release as a whole that shows they have potential as a radio friendly rock act.
