Keywest triumph at 98fm Awards
The Dublin band were victorious in the Best Street Artist/Busker category.
Last week at Smock Alley Theatre, Dublin radio station 98fm hosted an award ceremony honouring the finest people and places in the capital city. Local pop-rocking lads Keywest had quite the night, scooping a gong in the Best Street Artist/Buske category.
Considering we never had them pegged as Bansky rivals, we assume the "street artist" title is for all those celebrated live performances on the streets of their home town. Voted for by 98fm listeners, the award was presented to the band by Billy McGuinness of Aslan (pictured above, second from right).
In other Keywest news, the band are gearing up to release their second album and tour the US and Ireland this winter. They also have a smattering shows this summer. Go to [link]keywestofficial.com[/link] for more info.
