Keywest and Finbar Furey climb the Irish charts
Dublin rock-band Keywest and multi-instrumental folk musican Finbar Furey are new to the charts this week, placing at 4th and 10th place respectively.
Keywest’s album, True North, follows years of hard work – busking on the streets of Dublin, travelling abroad and playing explosive shows around the world. The album also precedes hard work, with the lads due to set off on an international tour for the rest of the year.
Finbar Furey has been an active musician and at the top of his game for over 50 years, and in that time has amassed a loyal fan-base. It’s no surprise then, that his latest record ‘Don’t Stop This Now’ debuted inside the top 10.
Niall Horan and Picture This round up the Irish musicians on the charts, sitting comfortably inside the top 10.
Somehow, the soundtrack to The Greatest Showman is still in top spot, in its 14th week in the Irish charts.
The top 10 is as follows
1. The Greatest Showman – Motion Picture Cast Recording
2. My Dear Melancholy – The Weeknd
3. True North – Keywest
4. Staying at Tamara’s
5. Divide – Ed Sheeran
6. Picture This – Picture This
7. The Thrill of it all – Same Smith
8. Flicker – Niall Horan
9. Question Mark – XXXtentacion
10. Don’t Stop This Now – Finbar Furey
