Justin Timberlake shares behind-the-scenes video for new *NSYNC single
Watch the clip below.
Justin Timberlake has called the new *NSYNC track a “love letter” to fans.
‘Better Place’ is the first new song from the group in 20 years. The boyband, which consists of Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez and Lance Bass reunited at the 2023 MTV VMAs last week when they presented Taylor Swift with an award.
“You guys are pop personified”, said Swift upon receiving her award. “To receive this from your golden pop hands is… it’s too much.”
The reunification of one of the 90s most popular acts follows a teaser campaign linked to the third Trolls movie- Trolls Band Together.
Posters for the film included the *NSYNC logo, alongside a QR code which directed fans to a website with a snippet of music.
Timberlake took to Instagram to share the background of the making of the track, including how he pitched the idea to other *NSYNC members.

”So many stars aligned…If we do this song, it’s a love letter to our fans,” Timberlake said. “I would be honoured to have the group on the song”.
“When the stars align… got my brothers back together in the studio to work on something fun and the energy was special,” Timberlake wrote in the post’s caption. “Better Place is coming 9/29. LOVE Y’ALL.”
‘Better Place’ is the boyband’s first release of new material since 2002- the same year in which Timberlake embarked his successful solo career.
*NSYNC officially parted ways in 2007, reuniting on a couple of standalone occasions at the VMAs in 2013, and their Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony in 2018.
