Justin Timberlake cancels club show
Justin Timberlake had planned to wow a small audience with an after-show club night in Vicar St yesterday, but the event was cancelled at the last minute.
JT’s plan for two gigs in one night was a no-go as his after-hours Vicar Street show was called off due to technical difficulties.
The singer played the first gig of his two-night run in the RDS on Saturday June 30, but was forced to cancel the club show planned for midnight in Vicar St.
Fans who forked out over €80 to see the sexy singer in the intimate venue were offered the chance to attend yesterday’s second RDS show as Justin’s guests.
Timberlake apologised to fans, saying “I love being in Ireland – the audiences are always something else and I’m so disappointed we can’t make the Club Show happen this time. I hope to make it up to you guys next time.”
Tickets for the show sold out in record time and were being touted for up to €250 on sites like Ebay.
Refunds are available from point of purchase.
