Episode one of a new TV chat show, Needle Time airs tonight at 10pm on Vintage TV (SKY channel 369, Virgin 343 and Freesat 515).

The show is hosted by ex-Hot Presser Neil McCormick, who each week will conduct an hour-long, in-depth interview with a well-known musical figure, interspersed with visuals and live performances. Tonight Neil will chat to legendary presenter and musician Jools Holland.

Though Vintage TV is predominantly home to retro music, McCormicks notes in a recent Daily Telegraph post that "you could argue everybody is vintage now, as the internet reshapes pop culture so that everything from rockabilly to dubstep exists in a simultaneous stream..."
