Johnny Marr: Details for Dublin & Belfast shows
Irish fans will get the chance to see Marr perform songs from The Messenger.
The former Smiths guitarist tweeted yesterday morning that Dublin and Belfast dates had been added to his eight-date tour.
Marr kept it simple tweeting: "Johnny Marr Tour. Dublin and Belfast shows added."
Marr is set to release his debut solo effort The Messenger on February 22. It's available to order now on iTunes. In the meantime, check out Roisin Dwyer's review of the collection in the new issue of Hot Press, on shelves now.
Following on from that Tweet, Johnny Marr has announced an intimate solo headline date at The Academy, Dublin on Wednesday, March 27. Tickets are priced at €24.50 incl. booking fee and are on sale this Friday, January 25, at 9am from Ticketmaster outlets and online.
Before hitting Dublin, Marr has also announced that he'll be in Belfast the previous night Tuesday, March 26 at Limelight in Belfast.
Tickets for both gigs can be purchased from Ticketmaster at 9am this Friday, January 25.
