John Blek & The Rats announce tour of Ireland and UK

Cork folk act John Blek & The Rats have confirmed details of a tour covering venues in Ireland and the UK.

The band, whose sound Hot Press declared as, "Americana fed folk rock at it's best", are set to release debut single, 'The Tide Will Rise Again' in late May. To coincide with the release, here's the planned Irish tour route:

May 28: Cyprus Avenue
May 30: Roisin Dubh, Galway
June 3: De Barra's, Clonakilty
June 4: Whelan's Upstairs
June 16: McHugh's Basement, Belfast
June 17: McGinnity's Cellar, Cavan
June 18: JJ Harlow's, Roscommon
June 24: Kenny's, Lahinch
July 1: Bridge Brook Arms, Thomastown
