Jenny Huston goes to SXSW

The strong Irish presence at this year’s SXSW festival will include 2fm’s Jenny Huston who’ll be broadcasting live from Austin, Texas at 10pm on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 March.
With a record 19 Irish acts invited to perform this year – The Minutes, Villagers, Dark Room Notes, General Fiasco and And So I Watch You From Afar being but a mere handful – it promises to be an action-packed few days.
“I’ve wanted to go to SXSW for as long as I can remember,” Jenny enthuses. “It's a working Eden for the music industry with 15,000 of us descending on Austin to see 1,800 of the world’s most exciting bands strut their stuff. I can't wait!”
