Jamie T announces sixth album Ghosts (100 Days of Morning) with new single '3310'
The eleven-track collection of songs sees the artist confronting his own ghost from the past - detailing love, loss and nostalgia.
Jamie T has announced his sixth album, Ghosts (100 Days of Morning), set for release on October 9 and shares his new single '3310'.
The follow-up to 2022's The Theory of Whatever was produced alongside a range of collaborators, including Damon Albarn.
The songs were created from old ideas brought to life during a challenging period in the South London artist's life.
"Everyone has a part of themselves they keep at arm's length, even from people they love," he explained.
"'Ghosts' to me is about seeing that version of yourself for the first time in a long time and trying to hold onto it. This album is me trying to find that again."
The single comes with a music video, directed by Rob Thorogood.
News of the album follows the announcement of a last-minute performance at London's Scala tomorrow, August 20, marking his first show at the venue in 20 years.
Since The Theory of Whatever, Jamie T has played his largest-ever headline show in 2023 at Finsbury Park, supported by the likes of IDLES and Kojey Radical.
He has also collaborated with Fred Again.. to make 'Lights Burn Dimmer' - a reimagining of his song 'Hippodrome'.
