Ivanka Trump graces the cover of Gang of Four’s new EP ‘Complicit’
British punk four-piece Gang of Four, will release a new EP titled ‘Complicit’ due out on April 20. Of special note in this announcement was the confirmation that Ivanka Trump, daughter of US President Donald, will grace the front cover.

‘Complicit’ was produced by founding member Andy Gill, collaborating with Ross Orton (Arctic Monkeys) and Ben Hillier (Depeche Mode).
The theme of the EP is, as one might reasonably guess, a commentary on the presidency of Donald Trump and his penchant for acting irrationally and dangerously. Also called into question is the vapid and capitalistic nature of modern society and the media’s new role in terms of reporting the truth.
Gill told the Washington Post, “when we think of ‘the media’ everyone has lots of ideas about what we mean. It could be social media, where hundreds of memes criss-cross the world; informing, misinforming, beginning or reinforcing ideas that may last a lifetime and beyond. Ideas about Jews, Muslims or the world trade centre, or the criminality of certain American politicians. And then there is the receding traditional media with disappearing jobs like ‘journalists’ and ‘fact checkers’. That’s the media the Trump family despise.”
