They are set to play in Dublin’s Malahide Castle on June 25, 2025.
Iron Maiden have asked fans to limit their use of phone cameras during gigs ahead of their upcoming world tour, which will include a date in Dublin’s Malahide Castle on June 25, 2025.
The Run for Your Lives tour is set to kick off in Budapest next week (May 27), with stops in Bratislava, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Birmingham, Manchester, London, and more along the way.
It will also mark the debut of drummer Simon Dawson, following the retirement of long-term member Nicko McBrain, who announced he would be stepping away from touring after suffering a minor stroke in 2023.
Posting on Instagram, the band urged fans to “not to excessively film the concerts on their phones or tablets,” saying that they “are keen for everyone in the audience to experience this spectacular show as they would have when many of these songs were first played live back in 80’s.”

Rod Smallwood explained: “We really want fans to enjoy the shows first hand, rather than on their small screens. The amount of phone use nowadays diminishes enjoyment, particularly for the band who are on stage looking out at rows of phones, but also for other concertgoers”
“The phone obsession has now got so out of hand that it has become unnecessarily distracting especially to the band,” he added. “I hope fans understand this and will be sensible in severely limiting the use of their phone cameras out of respect for the band and their fellow fans.”
Iron Maiden will welcome special guests Halestorm for half of the tour, including the Dublin outdoor show, while the British metal band The Raven Age will open all UK and Ireland gigs.
Speaking of the tour, lead singer Bruce Dickinson said: “Next year is a very special one for Iron Maiden and we’re going to be giving our fans a once-in-a-lifetime live experience. This is a tour that’s gonna put a smile on your face and a cheer in your throat.
“If you’ve seen us before, then get ready to take that experience to a whole new level. If you’ve never seen us before, then what the hell have you been waiting for? Now’s your chance to find out what you’ve been missing! Iron Maiden’s definitely gonna get ya!”
Tickets for Iron Maiden’s Malahide Castle show, set to take place on June 25, 2025, are sold out.
