Iron Maiden have released the trailer for their forthcoming documentary Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition, which is set to premiere in cinemas from May 7.
Directed by Malcolm Venville, the film is said to showcase the heavy metal band's five-decade career, with unprecedented access to official band archives.
Alongside the current members of the band, the documentary features the band's co-manager Rod Smallwood, Academy Award-winning actor Javier Bardem, founding member of Metallica Lars Ulrich, and frontman of Public Enemy and member of rock group Prophets of Rage Chuck D.
The band's documentary arrives as they continue their two-year Run For Your Lives World Tour. The tour celebrates Iron Maiden's 50th anniversary, with a special setlist that covers the band's first nine studio albums.
Last June, as part of their world tour, Iron Maiden performed at Malahide Castle.
Iron Maiden were formed in East London in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris and, alongside Harris, the band's line-up currently consists of drummer Nicko McBrain, lead vocalist Bruce Dickinson, and guitarists Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, and Janick Gers.
Since 1975, Iron Maiden have released 17 studio albums and 13 live albums, selling over 100 million records. The band has also performed almost 2,500 concerts across 64 countries.
Tickets for the documentary are available now, here.
