Irish rappers Rógan and ØMEGA team up for new single 'Different With It'

'Different With It' is the first of several collaborative tracks on the way from the Waverton Corp artists.

Fresh from the release of their own respective EPs, Hypocrite and The Metropolitan Project, earlier this year, Rógan and ØMEGA have joined forces to share a new collaborative track, 'Different With It'.

The explosive single packs plenty of braggadocio, with impressive performances from both of the hotly tipped young rappers. The collaboration kicked off after Rógan discovered the work of Miami-based producer CXDY, leading Rógan and ØMEGA to hit the studio and lay out an total of 30 demos in a short space of time. 'Different With It' is the first release from these studio sessions.

"We were just in a zone," ØMEGA reveals in a statement. "They say artists get sparks of blue flame. This was that. It just felt prolific. We were doing six to seven records a day, and 'Different With It' was just how we felt after all this work we were putting in. We knew this wasn't just a flash in the pan. This was the start of something special."

20-year-old rapper/producer Rógan has steadily risen through Dublin's hip hop ranks since releasing his debut project Arrogant back in 2017. This year he took home the title of Beat Club Champion at Dublin's annual Beat Club, hosted by Mathman. Empowered by the win, Rógan went on to release his self-produced EP Hypocrite, and recently signed to London-based brand Waverton Corp.

Bristol-born and Ardee-raised rapper/producer ØMEGA has enjoyed a similarly successful year. Since signing with Waverton Corp last year, the 22-year-old has played two stages at Electric Picnic, in partnership with WordUp Collective. He teamed up with Souletiquette DJ and producer Ill Diam earlier this year to present his debut EP, The Metropolitan Project. The EP's lead single 'Any Day' was premiered on Hot Press, while the second single 'Chérie' scored a coveted spot on Spotify's Rap IE playlist.
