Irish Artists For Palestine launch fundraising packages for Daughters Of Jerusalem choir's upcoming Irish concerts
Anyone who chooses to purchase a fundraising package has the opportunity to be listed as a featured sponsor on tour materials
Irish Artists For Palestine have launched fundraising packages for Daughters of Jerusalem (Banat al Quds), an all female choir from the occupied West Bank, to raise funds for their upcoming gigs in Ireland.
The choir formed in 2013 and consists of over 40 Women. They have three performances lined up on October 26 at The Pavillon Theatre, in Dun Laoghaire, Limerick on October 28, and Belfast on October 30.
The group blends a mix of classical Arab compositions and original works.
IAFP are asking the public to choose from a range of sponsorship options and donate whatever they can. This ranges from €25 to sponsor a day of a travel to €1000, sponsoring a full trip for a musician.
"We need your help," reads the Instagram post.
"Choose from our sponsor options or donate an amount of your choice through the link in our bio and please share the link as far and wide as possible."
Anyone who chooses to donate will be listed as a featured sponsor, unless they prefer to remain anonymous.
"Your support & solidarity is making a difference," the post continued.
IAFP launched in 2023, curating art events across Ireland, to fundraise and show solidarity with Palestine.
