Hozier joins Mumford & Sons for SNL performance
Watch the full performance below.
Hozier has joined Mumford & Sons for their SNL performance of 'Rubber Band Man'.
About a minute into the performance, Hozier was revealed to applause from the audience. The Irish musician features on 'Rubber Band Man', from the band's latest album Prizefighter.
On the show, the group also took part in an office-themed sketch, where they said a few lines, and played an acoustic version of 'Unchained Melody' by The Righteous Brothers. It was the band's fourth time performing on SNL.
Mumford & Sons released their sixth studio album, Prizefighter last month. The record features several collaborations with the likes of Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton, and Gigi Perez.
Co-produced and co-written with The National’s Aaron Dessner, Prizefighter arrived less than a year after Mumford & Sons’ previous album, Rushmere. The 2025 record ended a seven-year gap in their discography, and followed Marcus Mumford’s 2022 solo debut, Self-Titled.
The band are set to play their first Irish show since 2017, at Dublin's Marlay Park on July 5.
During a recent interview with Hot Press, Mumford & Sons talked about creating Prizefighter, inspiration, new favourite acts, ICE, and more. You can read the article in full here.
