Hothouse Flowers and Paddy and Saoirse Casey are the latest acts added to Bulmers Live at Leopardstown programme
Hothouse flowers and Paddy Casey with special guest, his daughter Saoirse Casey, have been added to the programme for this summer’s Bulmers Live at Leopardstown series. The outdoor concerts are set to take place at the Leopardstown racecourse on Thursday evenings between June and August.
First up in the festival are ‘80s rockers Hothouse Flowers on June 7. With over 30 years of performing experience, and a UK number one single, ‘I Can See Clearly Now’ under their belt just last year, they’re not to be missed.
The following week, the nationally beloved Paddy Casey will take to the stage, in an appearance with his daughter Saoirse Casey. Paddy Casey is well known to Irish audiences, with two consecutive Meteor Music Awards for Best Irish Male to his name. Lesser known, but not for long, is Paddy’s 20 year old daughter Saoirse. Following performances with Declan O’Rourke at the National Concert Hall, Saoirse is well on her way to becoming a household name.
Already confirmed in the series are Dublin duo Hudson Taylor, Paul Young, Keywest, Smokie, and The Waterboys.
The confirmed schedule is as follows:
June 7 - Hothouse Flowers
June 14 - Paddy Casey with Special guest Saoirse Casey
June 21 - Hudson Taylor
July 12 - TBC
July 19 - Paul Young
July 26 - Keywest
August 9 - Smokie
August 16 - The Waterboys
All the gigs follow a night of horse racing and a wide selection of hospitality options are available. The ‘Summer Bundle’ is €33 and includes admission to the racing, concert and includes a welcome drink, €10 food voucher and a €5 bet. À la carte dining is available in the 1888 restaurant onsite at €75 per person. Group discounts are also available online. An advance ticket price of €17 is available until May 31
