The Irish-American musician has spent 10 years gigging around the Dublin club scene with a funk-soul style that’s often infused with hip-hop elements. His freshly dropped single is the summer-lovin’ song you’ve been waiting for.
Digwell’s performances are characterized by high energy improvisational bouts assisted by his team of esteemed European jazz performers. His vibe is often described as a tasteful fusion of Jamiroquai, Jason Mraz and Michael Franti.
‘That Ain’t Bad,’ is a light, joyful tune laced with a string of clever love analogies. He seamlessly transitions from a low growl to a whispery, high pitched tone throughout the song. It’s the kind of track you want to enjoy while basking in the sun, drink in hand, reminiscing about young love. Digwell emulates youthful passion and sweet optimism in his voice, which has you grooving to each new line.
This newly released single will accompany his debut album, which is set to be released later this year (hopefully with more feel-good jams to follow).
