Hot Press Track of the Day: The Girl Talk ‘When I Know’

Today’s Track of the Day comes from the Dublin based, The Girl Talk.

Their debut single, ‘When I Know’ is a chilled, new wave song which shows how well they blend as a group. Hypnotic guitar riffs from Ben Spellman, dulcet vocals from Mark McKenna, a strong, steady bassline from Jonathon Cooke Allen, all punctuated by the skilled drumming of Jack Bird. What’s amazing about this track though is how it refuses to rest. Three quarters into the song, you may feel as though you have heard all they have to offer when it starts to build again to a guitar solo that brings it to new heights.
