Hot Press Storeroom Sessions: Girls Names
Belfast's Girls Names were the latest band to play our Storeroom Sessions...
Fresh from soundcheck in The Grand Social, Hot Press whisked Girls Names across the Ha'penny Bridge and up through Temple Bar to play the latest installment of our Hot Press Storeroom Sessions.
The band were in town to officially launch their superb new album The New Life, and to kick off the first night of their European tour.
Despite admitting on the walk over that they couldn't remember the last time they played on acoustic guitars together, Cathal and Philip treated us to fine renditions of album takes 'The New Life' and 'Hypnotic Regression', before dashing back across the river.
Check out the tunes for yourself below.
Oh and watch out for an interview with frontman Cathal Cully in our March 14 issue.
