Galia Arad
Coming from a classically trained background, Galia moved to New York from her Indiana home in her early twenties to pursue a music career, specialising in a style she calls “Bob Dylan meets Britney Spears”. Citing The Pogues as a major influence, she sought out Shane MacGowan to pen liner notes for her second album. Meanwhile, after a chance encounter with Glen Hansard in New York, Galia set her sights on Dublin, where she’s currently based. No stranger to big names, the singer has worked with the likes of Jools Holland and Elvis Costello, with more big plans in the pipeline for 2025.
