Artists announced for Ireland Music Week
Baltic countries will be the focus of this year's Ireland Music Week.
Ireland Music Week today announced the schedule for the 53 artists playing the festival this October, across multiple venues in Dublin.
After the addition of day shows last year, the festival has scheduled showcases on both Thursday and Friday, from 3-5pm.
Ireland Music Week (IMW) is an annual independent music festival and conference in Dublin, organised by First Music Contact, that showcases emerging Irish artists across all genres to an international music industry audience.
There will be a focus on Baltic countries this year, with artists from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania joining the lineup. 30 delegates from the three countries will also join the activities, including a reception and a panel specifically on the region.
Some of the Irish acts that will be playing this years festival include: Florence Road, Thanks mom and Lord Ormond.
