Hot Press Readers' Poll 2026: Nominations now open

As we kick off another exciting year, we're giving you the chance to have your voice heard – in the 2026 edition of the Hot Press Readers' Poll, aka The Hotties.

Selected by Hot Press readers and music fans of every sonic persuasion, The Hotties are an opportunity to highlight and celebrate the artists, albums, tracks, and other creative works that have shaped the past year – with nominations open now.

Last year's Readers' Poll saw KNEECAP emerge as the big winners, as they swept the boards in a hugely impressive five categories, including Debut Album of the Year, Live Act, Group of the Year, Best Rap/Hip-Hop and Best Film.

Hozier also enjoyed a big year on the Readers' Poll – winning Track Of The Year (for 'Too Sweet'), Individual Artist of the Year, and Best Songwriter.

In addition to all the exciting Irish music action, The Hotties also gives you the chance to honour your international favourites, as well as your top movies, TV, books and more.
