Hot for 2020 Irish Acts: Uly

Uly is the stage name of Rafino M.J. Murphy, a Dublin-based multi-instrumentalist who also happens to be an astrophysics graduate. He’s studied classical guitar, played in hardcore bands and with his current project draws on assorted funk, soul, jazz and folk influences. Indeed, Uly is impossible to categorise – and that’s the way he wants it.
