Goodness, Alejandro Aranda is causing a splash (sorry!). As Scarypoolparty he killed it on American Idol, earning raves from judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. And Stevie Nicks is such a fan she gushed about Aranda’s music in a Facebook post. It’s quite a journey for the former busker from Pomona California, whose music sounds like Nine Inch Nails if Trent Reznor had a passing interest in being a mainstream star and enjoyed acoustic guitar.
