Horsing around
The Thrills' 'One Horse Town' enters the UK singles chart at number 18
The Thrills have scored a major cross-channel breakthrough with their 'One Horse Town' single debuting at number 18 on the UK singles chart.
Needless to say, the Dubliners are feeling decidedly chuffed with themselves.
"As soon as we sat down on the bus Kev cracked open a bottle of Champagne and the celebrations went on into the early hours of Monday morning, a double celebration taking in St. Patrick's Day too," gushes guitarist Damien Ryan. "We were absolutely delighted with the chart position. We've played so many gigs throughout England with the NME tour and our own headline tour over the past couple of months and it's been so enjoyable to see that so many of our fans have gone out and bought the single."
Not ones to hang around, the band have confirmed that their next single, 'Big Sur', will be out on May 30. Their-as-yet-untitled debut album follows in mid-June.
