HBO Will Put Beyoncé's Lemonade Forward for an EMMY
Aside from being released exclusively on Jay-Z's TIDAL, Lemonade premiered first in its entirety on the HBO network.
HBO are so taken by Beyoncé's visual album Lemonade that they're submitting it for an Emmy.
They're hoping that Lemonade will be in the chance of winning the Variety Award. The album has been the hot topic of the music world since it premiered on the network and has gossip columns running rife with hidden (and no-so-hidden) messages that Bey's conveying in her lyrics.
It wouldn't be the first time that Beyoncé will ave graced the carpet as an Emmy nominee; her performance at the halftime show Super Bowl XLVII and her On The Run concert special with Jay-Z were also Emmy nominated.
Disgrace Jay-Z, all round slay and win an Emmy for it? That'll show him!
