Happy Birthday to Chuck D and Professor Griff

Hot Press sends a big ‘Happy Birthday’ to Chuck D and Professor Griff, two legends of Public Enemy.

We last caught up with the Chuck D in 2014 when Ed Power and the hip-hop star talked Michael Jackson, corporate hip hop and Public Enemy’s acceptance into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (one of four rap groups inducted).

Chuck D shares his 1st August birthday with Professor Griff. Despite the controversy surrounding Professor Griff’s eviction from the rap group after several anti-semitic comments, Professor Griff seems to be back in sync with the group as he helped produce theirnew album Nothing Is Quick In The Desert and even got a birthday shout out from Chuck D via Twitter.
