Hannigan Bags American Deal
Dave Matthews' ATO label has won the battle to release Lisa Hannigan's solo album in the States.
The label run by stadium rocker Dave Matthews, ATO Records, has snapped up the American rights to Lisa Hannigan’s Sea Sew album, which gets a release there on January 20.
With Radiohead, Ben Kweller, David Gray, My Morning Jacket and Crowded House also on the roster, ATO are one of the world’s most successful indie imprints.
Lisa and her band are currently touring round the US of A with Jason Mraz, a trek that includes visits to Dodge, Phoenix (November 16); Myth, Minneapolis (19); Eagles Ballroom, Milwaukee (21); Aragon Ballroom, Chicago (22); Fabulous Fox Theater, St. Louis (23); Lakewood Auditorium, Lakewood (25); The National, Richmond (26 & 28); Tabernacle, Atlanta (29); and Ryman Auditorium, Nashville (30).
It’s then back home for the Cork School Of Music (December 12) and Vicar St., Dublin (13).
