And that's not the only upcoming highlight in the Galway venue
Fingerpicking guitar virtuoso Pierre Bensusan has been announced to play Monroe's Live later this year.
For more than forty years, the six-string sensation has been lauded as one of the finest exponents on the planet, gathering plaudits and awards by the barrow-load. His visit on November 20 is one not to be missed; tickets, priced at €18/15 online, are available from [link]monroes.ie[link].
There's a treat far closer ahead, though, as some of Galway's finest musicians come together to pay tribute to The Rolling Stones under the guise of The Strolling Homes. From the classic anthems to the R&B rarities, they run the gauntlet of the band's back catalogue, and they'll be doing so in front of a hometown crowd on September 16; tickets for that one are €10.
