Groove Festival '16 Announce Hop House 13 Stage
Headliners include David Kitt & The Young Folk and new talent including TooFools, Zaska and Sample Answer
Groove Festival has announced a new partnership for 2016 with the launch of the Hop House 13 Stage.
The Hop House 13 stage has been curated by Turning Pirate and will be headlined by David Kitt on Saturday July 2 and The Young Folk on Sunday July 3 at Killruddery House, Co Wicklow.
Having put together a stellar line up of not only well established names, but some exciting new musical talent to showcase at Groove 2016, the Hop House 13 stage will be a focal point for music lovers at this year’s festival.
David Kitt is a stalwart of the Irish music scene. In the last twenty years, David has released six albums including Square One in 2003 and his most recent, The Nightsaver.
The Young Folk made their Groove debut appearance in 2014 and are back to headline the new stage in 2016. Their forthcoming second slbum, First Sign of Morning, will be released in April. The band is making huge waves at the moment and were one of Ireland’s representatives at Eurosonic earlier this year.
The full line up for the Hop House 13 stage is:
Saturday– David Kitt // TooFools // Sample Answer // Planet Parade // Swords // The Mockler Sisters.
Sunday – The Young Folk // Zaska // Gangsters // BARQ // Anderson.
Groove Festival is now in its fourth year and has already announced main stage headliners The Blades, Aslan and Ocean Colour Scene.
