Green and gold
Number one, and five, and one respectively, with a bullet: The Frames, Damien Dempsey and (ahem) Mickey Joe Harte hit the toppermost of the poppermost
There was much cause for celebration among Ireland's indie fraternity last Friday when The Frames' Set List and Damien Dempsey's Seize The Day entered the charts here at number one and number five respectively.
In the process The Frames have gone gold, selling over 7,500 copies of the live collection in the first week of its release. Whew!

Meanwhilte, turning to matters poptastic... Although things didn't pan out for him in Riga, Mickey Joe Harte made it a triple-whammy for Irish artists with his Eurovision entry, 'We've Got The World Tonight', topping the singles chart.
