Avoid potential first-degree burns by drinking cold tea in front of the telly tonight: laughter-induced spillage is at higher-than-usual risk, with our very own Sinead O'Connor appearing on V Graham Norton this evening, on Channel 4 at 10pm.

The songstress will be joining Norton for a wee chat, as well as treating the audience to a tune from her latest album, Sean Nos Nua. Currently notched at number 3 at home and, er, 139 in the USA (in fairness, it's No.1 with a bullet in the American world-music charts), the LP has just been certified platinum in Ireland.

As previously reported on hotpress.com, Sinead will be taking to the stage for a one off date at The Point Theatre on January 17th.
