Goat announce Button Factory show
Tickets go on sale Friday, January 30, at 10 am.
Swedish alternative collective Goat have announced their first-ever Dublin show at the Button Factory on August 28.
The seven-piece experimental fusion group performs anonymously, concealed behind masks and pagan ceremonial dress.
The band, originally from Korpilombolo, Norrbotten, Sweden are said to fuse the traditional songs of the region with outside influences.
"Goat is mainly a symbol of sacrifice," said one of the unnamed members of the group. "To sacrifice the individual for the collective good. To become one with the rest of humanity and universe."
To date, Goat have released six studio albums, the most recent being a self-titled album, which was released in 2024.
Elsewhere, the band composed scores for Shane Meadows' BBC drama series The Gallows Pole and the horror film Double Date.
Starting at €35.50 plus booking fees, the tickets will be available here on Friday, January 30, at 10 am.
You can sign up for pre-sale here.
