Glen Hansard added to Music Show line-up

Glen Hansard is the latest heavyweight to confirm for the Music Show. The Academy Award-winning songwriter joins a growing list of leading names who will appear at the RDS over the weekend of October 3 and 4. As reported in the last issue of Hot Press, the new Swell Season album, Strict Joy, follows on October 23. Other leading industry figures added today include Dermot McEvoy, who handles the music for the Late Late Show, and Shane O'Neill of Liberty Global (see earlier story).
As already announced on hotpress.com, Delorentos have also been added to the line-up for the Live Stage, where they will join already announced artists including Imelda May, The Coronas, Republic of Loose, The Brilliant Things and drumming sensation Carlos Hercules. Sharon Corr will also make a special appearance at The Music Show.
