Aaron Rowe on Electric Picnic: "I worked down there as a steward a few years ago and I’m just buzzing to get down there now as an artist"
As part of our special Festival Voices series, Aaron Rowe looks ahead to Electric Picnic 2025...
AARON ROWE
Main Stage / Saturday, August 30
"I’ve been writing some new tunes, so I can’t wait to play them for people at Electric Picnic. After the first single, ‘Hey Ma’, I felt like ’Talking With You’, was a nice extension to that story. I felt like I needed to put those out as my first two releases, because they felt like the most personal ones to me. I love playing them. In fact, I love gigging. Gigging makes me happy!
"I’m absolutely buzzing for EP. It’s gonna be class. I worked down there as a steward a few years ago and I’m just buzzing to get down there now as an artist. Sam Fender is the headline act on the Saturday, so I’m going to watch him. I just love festivals in general, but EP is the biggest in Ireland. I wish I could see nearly everyone!"
Aaron Rowe’s latest single ‘Lose Lose’ is out now.
Electric Picnic returns to Stradbally Hall in Co. Laois from August 29–31.
