KhakiKid on Electric Picnic: "Coming back to it, playing a significantly larger stage, it means a lot to me"
As part of our special Festival Voices series, KhakiKid looks ahead to Electric Picnic 2025...
KHAKIKID
Electric Arena / Saturday, August 30
“I’m getting nervous for Electric Picnic, but I’m also really excited. Honestly, the best shows I’ve ever played have been at EP. So now coming back to it, playing a significantly larger stage, it means a lot to me. I was there when Little Simz played the tent that I’m going to be playing and it was one of my favourite shows I’ve ever seen.
“I would love to incorporate some choreographed dancing like Little Simz, because I feel like that’s missing from shows these days. I figure that’s an element of the show that could take it up another level, especially on a big stage like EP.”
