The sinister synths and didactic ‘19’-style oration about 9/11 and malaria epidemics of which we are unaware relates to us how memory fades and becomes “broken and evaporated”. Insisting, “This is not gonna happen”, they risk sounding preachy. Fortunately however, The World’s anger and passion instead make for a very rousing anthem.
