Gavin Friday releases remixes EP Ecce Homo: The Church of Love and Dancing
The new record comes ahead of his shows in Limerick's Dolan's Warehouse on February 18 and Dublin’s Vicar Street on March 12.
Gavin Friday has released a special remixes EP titled Ecce Homo: The Church of Love and Dancing.
It includes four remixes of the 2024 track ‘The Church Of Love’ from artists from across the electronic and underground spectrum, including David Holmes, STRCHRMR, Apparition and Ash Howes.
The new release comes ahead of Friday’s shows in Limerick's Dolan's Warehouse on February 18 and Dublin’s Vicar Street on March 12.
Ecce Home was released in October 2024 and marked his first album in 13 years. It was rated a 9/10 by Hot Press, who called it “a remarkable sonic trip.”
The musician was a founding member and singer in the post-punk band Virgin Prunes from 1977-86.
He began his solo career in 1989 with the release of his album Each Man Kills The Thing He Loves. Additionally, the singer put out his albums Adam 'N' Eve in 1992, Shag Tobacco (1995) and Catholic (2011).
