Former Off The Ball team announce podcast plans

Sports fans missing their Eoin McDevitt & co fix rejoice! News has just reached us that the entire team is set to make their glorious return to broadcasting. Having suddenly parted company with Newstalk in March, Ken Early, Simon Hick, Mark Horgan, Eoin McDevitt, and Ciaran Murphy are now turning to podcasting. Every Tuesday, their Second Captains @ The Irish Times show will stream and podcast free-of-charge on irishtimes.com.

McDevitt says: "We’re delighted to be teaming up with The Irish Times. Our gardening leave ended a couple of days ago and being in the constant company of four other men has become extremely tiresome. For me getting back to work on Second Captains @ The Irish Times can’t come quick enough as I look forward to getting my relationship with the lads back on a strictly professional footing.”
