Foo Fighters release 'Spit Shine' music video

Foo Fighters have released a music video for 'Spit Shine', featured on their new album Your Favourite Toy.

The 'Spit Shine' music video was written and directed by band frontman Dave Grohl, and also features his daughter Harper.

Foo Fighters performed as part of Other Voices earlier this year, and additionally hosted a surprise intimate Dublin show at the Academy in February. In April, they graced the cover of Hot Press, out now.

Your Favourite Toy was released last week, and arrives as the post-grunge band's first LP since But Here We Are in 2023.

"After exorcising plenty of ghosts on 2023’s But Here We Are, Dave Grohl has returned to a tried and trusted method on Your Favorite Toy, cranking the amps up to 11 and letting rip with a series of electrifying rockers," wrote Hot Press in a recent review of the new album.

"Always a tremendously fun band to listen to, Foo Fighters are in irresistible form, with the opening ‘Caught In The Echo’ a serious statement of intent."

Grohl's daughter Violet is also a musician, and is set to perform at Electric Picnic this summer. Her debut album, Be Sweet To Me, is set to release on May 29.
