Fontaines D.C. nominated for Best Rock Record at Libera Awards

Fontaines D.C. have been nominated for Best Rock Record at the Libera Awards for their 2025 single 'It's Amazing To Be Young'.

The Dublin rockers are no strangers to the awards circuit. They took home Best Rock Record at last year's Libera Awards for their 2024 album Romance, which also earned two Grammy nominations and a Mercury Prize nomination.

The Libera Awards celebrate independent musicians and record labels. This year's awards will take place on Monday, June 8, in New York City.

Other nominees for Best Rock Record include Hayley Williams, Blondshell, Momma, Wednesday, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and Rocket.

'It's Amazing To Be Young' is Fontaines D.C.'s first UK Top 40 single. The jangly tune is the only single-song nominee for Best Rock Record, with each other artist nominated for an LP.

The Libera Awards honour 38 categories of achievement, including Breakthrough Artist, Label of the Year, and new category Independent Record Store of the Year.
