Fontaines D.C. announce major North American tour
Support comes from Westside Cowboy and Iceage.
Fontaines D.C. have announced a major tour of North America for 2027, running across April, May, September and October. Support will come from Westside Cowboy and Iceage.
Last week, the band also revealed a series of shows in Japan, Australia and New Zealand early next year, with support from Gurriers.
Following a run of dates this year, Fontaines D.C. are set to embark on a major UK tour in 2027, including stadium and outdoor shows with special guests Little Simz and Viagra Boys. Next summer will also seem the Dublin-formed band play Slane Castle on June 26 and 27, 2027.
The shows come in support of the band’s upcoming fifth album Dopamine Chamber, out October 16.
It will include previously released lead singles ‘Marianne' and ‘Tongue’, as well as 'Six Shot Morning' and 'Happy For You', which were recently debuted live – and a duet with Spanish pop star Rosalía on 'Where Is Gone?'.
"The album itself is a dopamine chamber," said frontman Grian Chatten. "You step inside and we test these different mind or mood-altering pieces of music on you ... There's a poignant sense of us being on the brink of some other kind of form of humanity, or non-humanity."
