Fontaines D.C. score another big week on international charts with Dopamine Chamber

Two weeks on from the release of Dopamine Chamber, Fontaines D.C. have secured another impressive week on the international charts – as well as holding onto their position at No.1 at home in Ireland.

In the UK – where the Irish band's fifth album debuted at No.1 – they have dropped just one place, to No.2, behind My Chemical Romance's The Black Parade, following that album's 20th anniversary reissue.

Dopamine Chamber is Fontaines D.C.'s first album to spend more than a week in the UK Albums Chart Top 3 –  with their previous album, 2024's Romance, debuting at No.2, before dropping to No.8 the following week.

In the UK's Official Physical Albums Chart, Dopamine Chamber is currently at No.5 – holding the same position in the UK's Official Albums Sales Chart, as well as the Official Album Downloads Chart.

Dopamine Chamber has also remained in the Top 5 for a second week in Scotland. Having initially rocketed straight in at No.1, the album is now at No.5 – while Romance has jumped up to No.19, their debut album Dogrel has risen to No.21, and 2022's Skinty Fia is at No.30.

In Australia, Dopamine Chamber holds onto its position in the Top 10, with the album currently at No.7, following its No.1 debut the week before.

It's also remained in the Top 10 in several European countries, including Belgium (No.2), the Netherlands (No.3), Austria (No.5), and Germany (No.8).

In the US, Dopamine Chamber entered the Billboard 200 at No.14. The next update of the chart is due tomorrow, November 3.

As their international fanbase continues to grow, Fontaines are gearing up for tour dates across Europe, the UK, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South America and North America over the weeks and months ahead.
