Fontaines D.C. and Inhaler among best-selling vinyl albums in UK for 2025 so far

Irish bands Fontaines D.C. and Inhaler have secured spots on the UK top best-selling vinyl albums list for 2025.

Fontaines D.C. have taken the sixth spot with Romance, according to the UK Official Charts.

The project had secured the No.5 spot on the best-selling vinyl albums in the UK last year, after landing a total of 42,100 vinyl sales.

Inhaler have taken the no.28 slot with Open Wide, which was released in February earlier this year.

The no.1 spot for the top album vinyl sales of 2025 so far is held by Sam Fender after securing 53,000 vinyl copies of People Watching.

He is joined in the top five by Taylor Swift with Lover (Live from Paris), Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet, Lady Gaga 'sMayhem and Pulp with their eight studio album More.

As for the top-selling singles in the UK for the year so far, Fontaines D.C. 's ‘It’s Amazing to be Young’ takes ninth place, which was their first single release in the aftermath of Romance.

They are joined on the list by Niall Horan with ‘This Town’ at no.33.

Oasis, with their reunion tour underway, have the best-selling single so far this year with 'Whatever'.
