Triumphantly returning from Hellfest, one of the biggest metal festivals on the planet, folk metallers Cruchan have announced an appearance in Dublin's Voodoo Lounge.

The Dublin based band are a compelling live act and are often credited with founding the genre of 'Folk Metal' Cruchan play a fusion of up-tempo Irish traditional music and crushingly heavy metal.
The band are true veterans, having toured the world across their nearly 24 year career.

Supporting will be Northern Ireland's Waylander and fellow folk metal band Celtachor.

Cruachan are currently hard at work on their latest album, the follow up to 2014's Blood For The Blood God

Cruachan will be playing The Voodoo Lounge August 20.
Tickets will be €15 at the door.
