Music Generation Limerick City to hold show celebrating Irish music at Dolan’s Limerick this May
Admission is free and open to all ages.
Music Generation Limerick City has announced One Day in May 3, a show celebrating Irish music at Dolan’s Limerick on May 18.
The event will feature teen musicians and community groups from Music Generation Ireland, as well as a selection of independent artists from Limerick. The show will offer free admission to all ages, taking place from 2 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
“Bring the baby and granny too,” Music Generation Limerick City wrote on Instagram.
Featured artists include girlfriend., Strange Boy, Michelle Grimes, Mother of Pearl, Post Punk Podge & The Technohippies and Culchie Goth. The musicians will be spread across three different rooms.

Music Generation is a national music education initiative, with the goal of empowering young people through access to music performance and education. 2025 marks Dolan’s third year hosting this event.
