Finbar Furey straight in at No. 1

Furey won his duel with Mundy who also participated in The Hit last weekend.
Furey's song was penned by Gerry Fleming while Mundy's chosen number, which landed in no. 5 in the charts, was written by Mark Walshe.
Katy Perry's 1 week spell at No. 1 was thus ended abruptly and her song 'Roar' now sits at No. 2 in the charts.
Meanwhile, a new album has shot into No. 1 in the album charts in the shape of Hail to the King, the new album from heavy metal group Avenged Sevenfold.
